We spent 10 wonderful days in the condo in Playa del Carmen between Christmas and New Year. Cozy 2 bedrooms condo with nice partial ocean view few steps away from Coco Beach and Shangri-La Beach. The master suite is furnished under a Mexican luxury style with a king size bedroom set. The second bedroom has two double beds, a large closet and private bath. The Dining room seats six people. The living room has one sofa and one loveseat with a 42" Plasma Flat screen TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal. The condo has central air conditioning and ceiling fans. All linens and towels (including beach towels) are included. Luna Maya is located in a new area of Playa del Carmen, called downtown north or "little Italy". The nearby beaches are wide, white and clean. The Caribbean in the Riviera Maya is very, very turquoise. One block away is Coco Beach, with picturesque fishing boats anchored on the point.

Stroll on the beach at night on your way to a night of "clubbing", Playa del Carmen style or maybe your style is to take a yoga class on the beach in the early morning, a healthy breakfast full of fresh tropical fruit, then a nice relaxing massage. Or maybe you would like to be more active and sign up for some of the many water sports available, such as: scuba, snorkel, sailing, fishing, wave runners, swimming with dolphins, kite boarding, etc.
The popular Mamita's Beach Club, a few minutes down the beach, is often host to fashion shows for MTV and live concerts.
Stroll on 5th Ave. to "people watch" from one of the many cafés and bars. If you play golf, there is a Robert Von Hagge 18-hole course 10 minutes away by car (Playacar Golf and Spa). The ecological park of Xcaret is only 15 minutes away by car. The ferry to the island of Cozumel is located in Playa del Carmen. Cancún Int. Airport is 50 minutes away.

Coco Beach is the new place to be. Very quiet, but within 5 minutes walking on the beach to all bar, clubs, restaurants of Playa del Carmen. Mostly all property in that area has their own security and it is a very safe and quiet area: day or night. The area now has one of the best beach clubs of all the Riviera Maya.
Food is great and the beaches too.
